Frischepost has raised a seven-figure amount in an investment round led by BonVenture. Hamburg-based Frischepost is linking farmers to consumers and is delivering more than 2.500 different products with electric vehicles. This investment should not be confused with Flaschenpost which is delivering beverages and was recently sold for €1 billion to Oetker.

For many years, everybody was arguing for mergers and increased cooperation. It is nice to see more of these activities happening. Vienna-based myAbility acquired Karlsruhe-based Capjob for an undisclosed amount. Both companies are offering services to improve access to the labor market for people with disabilities.

Bain Capital has raised $800 million for its second impact investing fund. It is more than double the size of the first impact fund and aims at investments in the range of $25-75 million per deal.

Telus has launched a $100 million social impact investment fund. Telus is a telecommunications company based in British Columbia and wants to invest in entrepreneurs working on healthcare, inclusion, sustainable food production or environmental issues.
