We are pleased to announce the International Dissemination Webinar titled “Leveraging Public Procurement for Green, Social and Innovative Transitions”,
taking place online on 19 September 2025 from 09:30 to 11:30 CET.

The webinar will  promote and present the findings of the Deal4Good Research Report: “A small-scale transnational investigation on the Social Public Procurement market”. This report sheds light on current challenges, barriers, and opportunities in the field, offering valuable insights and recommendations for practitioners and policymakers.

This interactive event will bring together experts, policymakers, public authorities, social enterprises, and researchers from across Europe to explore how public procurement is being used as a powerful tool to shape more sustainable, inclusive, and innovative societies.

What to Expect

Participants can look forward to expert-led presentations and case studies that delve into the current landscape of social and green public procurement. The webinar will explore practical approaches to incorporating sustainability and social impact into procurement processes and will examine how cross-border collaboration and pre-commercial procurement are driving innovation in the public sector. Attendees will gain first-hand knowledge of effective practices and policy trends shaping procurement strategies across the Europe.

Agenda Highlights

The session will begin with presentation of the Deal4Good and ProcuraMED projects, focusing on its efforts to promote inclusive growth through procurement. The University of West Attica will present the main findings of the Deal4Good Research Report, identifying key challenges and solutions within the Social Public Procurement market. The Umbria Region will share its hands-on experience in implementing green criteria, and the University of Padova will highlight progress in circular procurement across the Adrion macro-region. The agenda also includes a discussion on innovation in procurement led by the EAFIP, followed by an open Q&A session and final reflections.
